Richard Rose, Artistic Director, 2002-present

Under Richard Rose's direction Tarragon has continued to create new work, provide long-term dramaturgy through its various play development programs, present new plays from all parts of the country, revive significant Canadian plays, and produce contemporary and classical work from around the world.

Noted for the high artistry and the technical quality of its productions, the theatre has earned countless awards while continuing to nurture the next generation of Canadian playwrights, such as Hannah Moscovitch, Brendan Gall and Rosa Laborde.
