Legendary Toronto pianist Glenn Gould, 1932-1982, is known as one of the world's foremost interpreters of the keyboard music of J.S. Bach. It is not well-known, however, that Gould made his professional debut, not as a pianist but as an organist. Never one to conform, a very young Glenn Gould signed this programme vertically.
